Anti-ds DNA | NAOKON DIAGNOSTICS

The anti-dsDNA (anti-double stranded DNA) antibody test is a blood test that looks for antibodies to double stranded DNA. The anti-dsDNA antibody test is a very specific test for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) because Anti-dsDNA antibodies aren’t found in any other autoimmune disorders.

SPECIMEN: 2 mL (1 mL min.) serum from 1 SST. Ship refrigerated or frozen.

STABILITY: Room: 6 hrs; Refrigerated: 72 hrs; Frozen: 2 weeks

REPORT: Daily

PRE-TEST INFORMATION: No preparation required.

USAGE: ds-DNA Antibody is detected in patients with active SLE and approximately 20% of patients with Mixed connective tissue disease.
